24 hours doesn’t pass by fast enough when I’m looking forward to Seoul and Japan. With our trip drawing closer, we will be introducing Xiang Rui the proud owner of Guess the Word SG; a mobile game application which allows people to play charades using words that are familiar only to Singaporeans or those who have been staying in Singapore for a superrrr long time.

2. What’s your reason for joining TSM Korea instead of any other study missions?
I love Korea’s rich startup landscape and ecosystem for new ventures. I want to learn from them and bring new ideas back for my own start-up.
3. Tell us something interesting about the company you are in charge of for TSM
Classting is the first social network for classroom! It helps teachers to truly communicate with their students. Maybe SMU can introduce this into our class participation system. Who knows!
4. Why did you choose your company out of so many start-ups in Japan/Korea?
Previously, I have developed and launched a social network app and a game app. In this coming summer, my company is planning to launch an education app and a utility app. So, this will be a perfect opportunity to learn from the people from Classting, who are experts in educational app.
5. What is the biggest thing that you wish to achieve out of this TSM?
I want to be inspired by the different start-ups in Korea and Japan. And hopefully, bring back new ideas to disrupt the Singapore’s start-up scene.
