Family Introduction #8 – Jeremy

Next, we have another J – Jeremy! 1. Describe yourself with three words Challenger, Never-‐gives-‐up, Sociable   2. What’s your reason for joining TSM Korea instead of any other study missions? It’s specific to Technopreneurship and it’s Korea! I’ve always wondered how they are always catching up to the latest technologies. I would like to experience the working culture & lifestyle.   3. Tell us something interesting about the company you are in charge of for TSM Wantedly (Japan’s largest social recruiting site) They’re a direct competitor of LinkedIn, one of the highest traffic website in the World. However, they are able to garner 61,000 users and is currently Japan’s most popular social recruiting site. Trippiece (Social Travel – User Generated) All their contents are user-generated. It’s amazing how they can entice/encourage people to share their travel plans, grow their user base, and eventually retain them.   4. Why did you choose your company out of so many start-‐ups in Japan/Korea? They’re in a highly competitive niche, and yet able to stand out victorious in different ways. I’m sure we, as a class, would be able to learn much from these companies. 5. What is the biggest thing that you wish to achieve out of this TSM? Starting up a Technology Company – The culture that should be instilled, the lifestyle, the attitude, the hierarchical structure, the business strategies, anything under the blue-‐blue moon that you can think of related to starting up a technological company.
