1. Describe yourself with three words

Cat, Sport, Trance

2. What’s your reason for joining TSM Korea instead of any other study missions?

I had been watching Korean shows and MTVs, playing Korean national sport (starcraft 2) and learnt Korean language but never been to Korea. Of course I would love to have the opportunity to visit Korea!

3. Tell us something interesting about the company you are in charge of for TSM

Hachimen Roppi is named after the 8-handed, 6-faced Buddha.

4. Why did you choose your company out of so many start-ups in Japan/Korea?

Hachimen Roppi is no ordinary startup that just aims to make it big with an innovative product or business model. It also aims to preserve Japan’s food culture – fresh and delicious fish through its efficient delivery and supply of fishes to restaurants. Any seafood aficionado, including me, would have to be grateful to Hachimen Roppi’s business remodeling of fish distribution.  It is also a good example of how conventional business models can be built upon and refined to bring efficiency in the fish distribution industry, attracting users to use Hachimen Roppi’s application in the process.

5. What is the biggest thing that you wish to achieve out of this TSM?

I wish to learn from all these successful entrepreneurs the secret to their success in every step that they take.  Of course, I hope to learn more from IdeaAbove during the field visit, as its expertise is pretty related to a business idea that I have in mind!
